A decapitated robot head? An extraterrestrial communicator? A specter summoner?
Nope (and yep!), it's an APC!
The APC (Atari Punk Console) is some kind of noise toy. Its circuit was originally described in the early 80s but it was such a hit that it's become something of a go-to project for folks new to electronics and soldering! There are tons of versions of it but they all share the same basic parts.
The Oskitone APC is the function of the classic APC circuit in an Oskitone form. It's not very useful or musically pleasant, but it's fun!
This APC comes assembled. Also available as a DIY Kit.
- An Open-Source hardware project, from PCB to code for 3D-printed models
- Fully soldered and assembled! Just plug in a 9v battery (not included) and you're ready to go.
- Don't need the enclosure or other 3D-printed pieces? Select the "Electronics only, soldered" option to get a fully soldered and working board. This is like the DIY Kit but it's already soldered up for you!
Version: Rev A
